We worked closely with these clients to design a new home on a property they have owned for some 40 years. They are great travellers and had collected architectural pieces from all over the world for years. We made sure we designed spaces to finally have their pieces incorporated into the structure.

 

The brief was to design a country home that allows for entertaining their local friends and also to have accommodation for their family to stay as well as friends from outside the district. The wide verandahs are where they live, year round, looking out over their property. Due to the topography, the house stretches out along the landscape, with all spaces leading onto the north facing verandah.
